This studio painting was taken from an en plein air painting made whilst standing in the waves at Kimmeridge Beach, Dorset. The title is inspired by the find of the Pilosaur dinosaur, the nose of which fell from these cliffs in 2023. Glazes and thick impasto areas have been used to describe the layers of history and geological might of the scene.
