An oil painting taken from a watercolour. Standing on Rushy Bay, looking out to sea I am always entranced by the off-shore islands that seem to float on the horizon. An unusually quiet summer’s day allowed my contemplation. Followed by a bit of shell-seeking.
The painting is highly-textured with a lot of impasto areas.
